“ My review is long over due. We came here a bit ago, and I only realized I did not leave a review when I saw pictures of our dinner on my phone. We had reservations at another restaurant but we cancelled when we saw there was a reservation available here. We started off with a couple drinks and the scallops. The scallops were buttery and delicious. The sauce underneath them was plate licking worthy. We then got the lobster bisque. We eat this dish whenever it is on a menu and consider us "lobster bisque connoisseurs". This dish had so much lobster and was so delicious that I wish I could eat it for every meal. It was by far some of the best, if not the best we have had. We also had their baguettes which were good, but I'd skip them next time. More room for more lobster bisque. My husband had the duck breast and it was amazing. Not oily and so much flavor. I had the Atlantic cod. I will start out by saying I am not one to order fish at restaurants. I am a steak person, duck, and basically just a carnivore. I don't know what made me change, but I am so glad I did. I have never had a piece of fish that was so flavorful, so delicate and so delicious. The beurre blanc emulsion was perfect. There is nothing I wouldn't eat that sauce with. It would taste good on an old leather shoe. The service was great. I was fascinated by the open kitchen and watching the chef prepare the dishes with tiny tweezers and making sure everything looked perfect. Chef Lionel caught me staring and came out and checked on us and spoke to us for a bit. Before we left he walked us over to the window in the chefs table and explained the kitchen and how everything is sourced. The restaurant itself is stunning and the art is fun. It's high end mixed with amazing, fun art. I can't remember our drinks because we had 3-4 different ones because they were all perfect. Parking is not great, but we don't care because if there is valet, we prefer to use it. If my wallet could afford this place every day, we would be here. We can't wait to try their happy hour on the patio with their lollipops. ”

“ One of the best meals I've had in Houston. The food was super flavorful with a beautiful presentation. We had the salmon and sea bass which were both delicious. Our server was attentive and the space, absolutely gorgeous. I was very surprised to see how empty it was on Friday evening. I will definitely come back next time I'm in town. ”

“ The parking lot is not big and the valet service is $10. There is parking on the side street and in the back of the building. This is a beautifully decorated restaurant. I came with my girlfriends to try Houston Restaurant Weeks. We all ordered off the HRW menu. For starter I had the beet and goat cheese salad. The beets were nicely thin sliced and the presentation was fancy. I loved this appetizer. The cheese and the yellow purée (not sure what it was) all complimented each other. Even the tossed greens in the side was good. Next, for my entree, I ordered the short rib ravioli. Hands down, the best short rib ravioli I have ever had! The sauce was delicious and I liked the mushrooms in the dish. I was happy. For my last course I chose the hazelnut chocolate pastry. It was similar to a chocolate mouse with a crunchy cookie type crust. It was nicely presented. I wanted more of the caramel sauce in that dish. The food was great! In regards to service, I would say it is really slow and the restaurant was not at max capacity. It took us at least 40 min to get our drinks and to start taking dinner orders. The waiter said he was waiting for everyone to receive their drinks before he came to ask us what we wanted to order. That is unnecessary. We were hungry and that made it longer for us to start eating. The bar was also slow to remake my friend's drink. ”

“ This place is BOUJEE. Fancy birthdays, date nights, elegant and elevated eating as marketed. The decor, bar and seating is deliberately designed. I came with a party of 12, and the docking 1 star because the food didn't come out for honestly almost an hour. Drinks were good but nothing to write home About. Food was elegantly placed and cooked, flavors were mild. Yummy and I understand my prices for the environment and elegance of food. Avg: 40+ per entree, and drinks were $15+. Valet parking available for $10, but limited pay to park around the area! ”
